Family Grants Program
The NGSFRC Family Grants Program was created to provide financial assistance to members of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard whose immediate families experience financial hardships. TIER I family grants is assistance for the service members during a period of mobilization and up to 18 months following the service members’ demobilization. TIER II family grants are available for non-mobilized service members who served on State Active Duty or State Missions (e.g., hurricanes, floods, border missions, etc.) for more than 20 consecutive days. Service members meeting these criteria are eligible to apply.
Business Grants Program
The NGSFRC Business Grants Program was created to provide financial assistance to members of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard who were self-employed business owners at the time of being mobilized and have been on orders in any duty status continuing longer than 45 days, and their business must be experiencing financial hardship traceable to the service member’s mobilization. Such grants are for the purpose of helping to sustain the business during the service member’s deployment or helping to resume business operations following deployment.
